Which SUV?

About a year or so ago I posted a question asking the group to help me decide on buying a car. I had to postpone my purchase but now I'm ready to resume. My requirements are not many/too specific (I don't think).
  • I'm looking for an SUV. I do photography so I carry equipment. Sometimes there is not a lot of equipment, but the boxes that protect it tend to be large/bulky so I need a car with lots of room. A typical sedan would not do.
  • My budget is around $30,000. I don't need to buy a car that expensive, but I think at this budget, I have a lot of options.
  • I want it to have good gas mileage.
  • The car needs to be of good quality. I don't just want a car that's inexpensive and that gives good gas mileage. Those are two of the qualities I'm looking for, but I won't just buy a car for those reasons. I want a car that's going to last and that's not going to break down all the time.
I think that covers it.

Thanks.

Re: Which SUV?

You can check out German brands. A lot of them have very good make and models in your price range. Mercedes GLA series should have enough room for your equipment and they are very high-tech comfortable vehicles.

Re: Which SUV?

I would go with new HR-V (Honda)
unless you travel to photograph with family ...
