Talking first road test for the GT

and here is the cliff's notes version...

0-60 3.8
0-1/4mi 12.2
skidpad 0.99g
slalom 69.5 mph

it's in the december 03 road and track

and it looks like they accomplished their goal of making another ferrari beater!

Re: first road test for the GT

You should see the car in person, it's beautiful inside and out (especially with the interior lit up at night). I was talking with one of the car's engineers and had to let him know they really did do it with this car, it is in nearly every way superior to the Ferrari 360 Modena.

Re: first road test for the GT

I can't remember the numbers off the top of my head but when Motor Trend tested it they got allot better numbers, as they tend to do with most cars, they seem to be better/more experinced track drivers as most road test Editors have slowly been miagrating there from Road and Track and Car and Driver for years

Re: first road test for the GT

I got to test drive one the other day and I didnt want to take it back. I told them I would be gone for 1/2 hour, I came back in 3 1/2 hours later to find myself in trouble.

This forum is for the Ford GT and GT40, of course we are going to be excited about the new GT you idiot. What the hell do you expect? Now go back to your forum about cheap economy cars and be all excited about a car being able to do 0-60 in 7 seconds.
