700R4 reverse in wrong location
So we just installed a shop overhauled 700R4 in a 1951 Chevy truck.. all went well except the location of Reverse P-N-3-2-1-R. We are using a S10 column and aftermarket push-pull cable to control. any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Re: 700R4 reverse in wrong location
Ironically, that's just how the old automatics were set up. Reverse was the last detent. I wonder if the shop didn't set it up that way intentionally if they knew it was going into a '51.
