What to Do? Wait For Skunk2 Exhaust or Get Something Else?
I may not be getting the Skunk2 Cat-Back exhaust, cause i talked to the guy and now he's saying i may not be getting the exhaust for like 3 or 4 months now, so i'm gonna have to decide if its worth the wait or if there is something else just as good or better than the Skunk2. So now i want ya'll opinions. Do u think it is worth it to just wait like 3 months for the Skunk2 exhaust or should i just get something else. If i decided to get something else, wat is the best looking, sounding, and performing cat-back exhaust i can get for my car?? I would really appreciate everyones opinions, thanx.

I have been hearing about the skunk 2 system for awhile now. First it was supposed to be released around May or June...then August..then who knows...this exhaust has been pushed back so many times I think you might be better off getting something else. JMO

There is a guy named Dom on honda-tech that I met at the last PA meet. He was interested in one and had been talking with skunk2. He was the one who posted on honda-tech about it being pushed back.

Thermal
I dunno anything about Skunk2's - but sometimes companies developing new products make you wait because they want to make sure the product is better than anything else out there.
I have heard from multiple sources (including 91zc) that the Thermal R&D is the best exhaust that is currently available. Price = $479 for a sedan..prolly a few bones cheaper for a hatchie. If I had $500, I'd already have one...but I don't...so I am having to settle for a custom non-stainless job for $260 - it should do just fine to satisfy my needs tho.

Granted it might be a bit guady since it is all stainless but on most sytems the muffler back is stainless anyway. So it is just like any other system. Get a little dirt on it and it won't attract attention. lol I think it looks great and sounds great as well. I will try to get a sound clip of the thermal on my b16a sedan tonight.

It is a 4" tip. The usual on most aftermarket catback systems. If you don't like the polished look paint it black for the inconspicuous sleeper style.

I've got a clip from when I had my ZC. It is just revving the car in my driveway. The quality isn't too good but I think you will get the picture.
Go to www.geocities.com/teampimports Then click on car sounds Then look for the 91 civic with ZC

Yep that is it...I knew there was a place selling them a lot cheaper than 500 bucks. Good find.
