00 1500 air bag light came on

I was driving my truck and then started binging and I looked at dash and the air bag light lite up

what does this mean what would be wrong

Get it scanned free at your local chain type auto parts store.

oh they can read it?? for air bag

I did pull the fuses out and pushed back in seems to fix it for the moment

but how do you also get those fuses out they are held on with plastic yellow bracket cant get damn thing out even if I had to replace it

so my innoa scan tool can it not tell? or needs special scan tool

My Innova won't read it, just some ABS (not Dodge though) and general DTC's.

ah ok ill ask I know Canadian Tire charges like 30-40 bucks to read codes for you

that's why I bought the innova at the time

and for curiousty how do you remove the fuses from those holders when you cant pull the plastic part out


and pulling the fuse out and pushing back in fixed the issue but as soon as I started to drive or turn friging light came back on

mine different

my Airbag is inside the truck on the side of the drivers side, has a a fuse for driver and passanger

but it has a yellow plastic holder around it, you can pull out the yellow holder so far but you cant remove it as I wanted to see if fuses were blown

but it lets me pull out the fuse till the plastic holder but no further there is a black one in there too that does something
