????Battery Reserve????
I don't know what this is. Have a 1994 Chevy G20 Low top conversion w/350.
It started by having the key turned backwards and after a few seconds everything would shut down. Tried to restart and would not turn over...nothing would work...radio would loose all programming, ect. After a about a minute it would start. I drove to gas station and the van died and could not get it to start. I was wait for a tow truck when a guy that worked for GM for 20 years happened to see me and said it was this box that stops the battery from draining and had me bypass it and connect to battery. Works great now. QUESTION is What is this box called???? Do I need to replace it or can I keep running bypassed? |

Like a relay? If it had a probllem like that it is always better to fix the problem than to jeery rig it or bypass it.

Re: ????Battery Reserve????
I am not sure what box....that is what I hoping to find out what it is.
It is to the upper left of the battery and is black. Wether it is a box I don't know it is kind of rectangular in size???? It is made to keep the battery from draining and it has the wire to the battery now. I just don't know what this is so I can replace it or have fixed. |
