Oil Filter Base Gasket
Hi All,
I noticed asfter weeks of seaching and trounleshooting that my 1996 GMC Jimmy 4.3 Vortec is leaking oil from what appears to be the Oil Filter Base Gasket, the one that connect to the engine. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement gasket or part number. Ive already replaced the Oil Lines, so iknow that is good. The oil drips down to the oil filter and smears back as I drive. There are no leaks coming from anywhere in the engine. Does anyone have a name, part number or information where I can find this gasket or base gasket? Thanks |

Re: Oil Filter Base Gasket
This should stop your leak, make sure it's torqued to the proper spec.
