Replacing the Oil Pan
I know this may sound crazy but my oil pan is rusting out and now its leaking. I have no oil all around the seal so its not coming from above. The paint is all gone on the lower half of the pan. My question is; Can I pull the pan (for replacing) without having to lift the motor? If you think you know, have you done this? I have to Remove the starter, and that's no problem. It's a 94, 3.0 L, 2 wheel drive.

Re: Replacing the Oil Pan
I was wondering how hard it was to drop the pan as well, I have a 1994 all wheel drive model with the aluminum pan that I need to put rod & main bearings in and it looks like I could place a jack under the rear A frames and unbolt the cross member to take down the pan but I figured I would check here before I ate a spring
