Loose door lock
Hey little problem with my '01 Montana. The door lock on the manual sliding door is loose and jiggles a lot. It doesn't always lock, even if I'm using the fob. I figure some little part is broken in there but I don't have the time to go on a long exploration through the door panels-plus its 30 degrees in Buffalo, NY. Any Ideas?
Thanks, Doug |

Re: Loose door lock
Sometimes the black plastic slider just comes off of the lock rod. When it does it binds the rod and prevents it from locking/unlocking. You'll have to remove the panel to see for sure.

Re: Loose door lock
Thanks. I hope its something that simple. It would be nice if the only thing it cost me was a Saturday afternoon...
