Lightbulb 1995 3.8L Ford Windstar - AIR FILTER KIT - K&N or OTHER

I would like to see about modifying the air intake on my van. I just got it and its old and I'd like to do everything possible to get as good a gas mileage and hp for the monstrous almighty $$ GAS DOLLAR $$ that we are paying these days. I realize its a VAN, but a few performance mods are in order for something this old. Its got 131,000 on it, but it was well taken care of and only the things that would usually wear are needing repair. So what could I do? I know K&N only offer an AIR FILTER and an OIL FILTER for my van, but what about an AIR FILTER KIT that opens up the AIR INTAKE to intake the air from 360 degrees or something similar? Anyone know the measurements (I don't cause its in the shop at the moment) to the air intake? Does it resemble or mirror the air intake from another vehicle so that I could look that vehicle up and get the KIT for it and use it on my VAN? Any other people sell KITS that would work ..... short of DUCT TAPING ONE ON THERE..... lol - Relax, I wouldn't do that. Vin Diesel would be mad about that mod. LOL - Wouldn't want to upset Mr Fast and the Furious.
