1996 Rodeo 4x4 Manual
3.2L SOHC V6 144,470 Miles Just bought the rig 2 weeks ago. Had no 4WD. Found bad Vacuum Switch on actuator. While under the truck, found ALL FOUR CV boots split in two! Needless to say, the vacuum switches cost $177.00 (for the set) from the dealer and I'm replacing both axles ($65 a side). Other than that, it's been a good ride.

3.2L 31,000 actual mileage, mom only went to grocery store 1/2 mile, still has original tires. Re-occuring latching/unlatching problem with rear liftglass; electric window problems on driver & rear pass. side units; last week replaced battery but found it's starter problem, time to order factory service man; B-day present for mom before her unexpected passing-30,000mi. service done by dealer=$1,193.22 - I declined to replace serpentine belts @ $450 & minor valve cover leak @ $750; (I'm in the wrong trade) |

Re: How many miles do you have your Isuzu?
Update: 150K on the 3.2L V6 auto Rodeo LS 4x2
Major problems: coolant leaks from o-rings sealing ends of external cooling pipes on top of block and freeze plugs between the block and tranny housing. I don't consider broken window regulators or failed starter as major problems. Main reason for the update? 4L30E performing flawlessly at 150K! |
