Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?

I used to work for John Deere. I LOVE the 8520's. At the time I worked there the 8410 was my favorite.

We've only had it for about 3months, we bought a 8400 new in 1997 and it is still running strong. I love the Independent Link Suspension on the 8520 its like driving a car accross the field. What did you do for John Deere?

I'm 17 completed 2000hours training in manufactoring technologies at Havard H. Ellis Tech and currently employed as a CNC machine controller/programmer (after school of course). I love my job , I love working on $250,000 machines. Machinists make the world go round. Plus I'm making 13.50 an hour at 17 so I cant complain . Only sucky part is working on some pieces where the tolerance is +/- .0002 =(

I did the small engine repair and sometimes delivered parts if it was slow around the shop the first few months I was there. After that I did mostly service calls with another guy that had been there forever. I leaned ALOT from that guy about diesel mechanics.... The coolest one I drove once was a 8400T (the tractor on tracks) That thing would go anywhere you pointed it!!

Hey sportin, can you PM me? If you wouldnt mind, I would like some advice/assistance in upgrading my 01 silvy ext cab stereo. I am an old school audio guy from the mid 80's (when it all started) but things have changed and the vehicles are more technical and such. Anyway, thanks for your reply.
