ouchies! I WISH we got storms here... ever since I became an Atmospheric Sciences major we have gotten caca for storms

Yeah we broke a record here yesterday... 98 degrees! Old record was 96 I think... and that wasn't even the worst part, the heat index was over 105 degrees! And this is in central Indiana! My parents went to the Colts' training camp yesterday in Terre Haute and it was even hotter there... and they practiced outside the entire time! Holy bananas that would blow

But yeah, COLTS SEASON SOON WOOOO and hopefully we get some nasty storms out of this ridiculous humidity, otherwise it's all in vain

Well I like too know where that thermomiter is they use because I have had temps up too 100 deg way before yesterday. It was 105 on my thermomiter yesterday nad its in the shade

Thats crazy Vipey, I was down by Terre Haute Friday- monday.
Had a funeral to goto...
I do not recomend a black suit in the hot hot sun when its 95+ degrees !
It was definatly a lot more humid down that way, thats for sure! So far I havent been outside this after noon, I bet its HOT

keep'n hydrated

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

The storms here didn;t help any today... I think it has made things worse... since it's getting ever more humid. You feel wet when you go outside... YUCK. Black shirt on a hot day... yeah a big no no a suit is even worse!

Well i got word today i didn't get the job from the interview on friday. thankfully they were only looking for someone with a little more experience... hopefully that was the real reason though. Hopefully someone else will call me back...

It was a corporate sales manager position, for a hotel. Not 100% of something i want... but it's a job. I'm too indecisive for jobs or a "career".

become a pr0n star and make thousands a day!!!

I don't think that's something I could ever do (even though that would be totally awesome) but if I got paid enough... everyone has a price haha!

Too bad I don't have a rippling 6-pack (abs not beer... both are awesome though) and an unnaturally large... jaw. Yes, jaw.

i have a rippling belly.. does that count?

Since ive been stuck at home the past month I havent been able to go to my fav. gym. been puttin on some extra, which I guess is 'ok'... since winter is right around the cornor...

I think I've decided on getting a 07 Cobalt SS/SC, been lookin at recall info, parts and upgrades, what other people have done with them. The available upgrades from GM-Performance Parts Stage2 or 3 can be found cheaper online surprisingly for a easy $550 get 40+hp. Only thing with stage3 is that I would need at LEAST 93oct all the time without question as well PCM support for 50shot dry No2 hmm. only bad feature is my AC is diabled .. wtf?

I would prob get hptuner software, to do my own tuning. they also sell individual stage whatever parts... like a 2nd pass cooler for the supercharger heatsink that coolant runs through which is niceee... colder air going in.

As well as bolt on stuff from injen with MR(mega ram... I actually like this idea, I read up on it... makes sense too) Few brand selections from HAHNS, borla, and magnaflow for cat-backs to headers... I watched a HAHNS full exhaust vid on youtube. headers, cat, cat-back all pieced and it didnt sound half bad... hardly even ricer, nice tone

On top of everything though Ive been looking thru cobalt forums and these little ecotech engines are mighty strong from what it seems, they can take some abuse.... other than the OEM clutch slipping, (glazing problem, overheats) I can replace that =p

Since I like 'fun' driving, going on backroads and such doing turns... cobalts perform pretty well... I think I've made my choice on my next 'sport compact' project.

Prob get SS/SC in black or white with black leather interior sexah

Shouldn't you be in better shape... you don't really have a working car? You did that walk to the shop that one day!!!

Colbalt SS/SC... good choice over the G5! I'm amazed that they are sister cars and yet the colbalt is sooo much better in the end. The ecotec engine in the cobalt has a lot more upgrades. There was some show on the speed channel that did a cobalt project where they tuned it up to get lots-o horsies out of it. For the colors... I personally like the Blue and the yellow colors. But the white and black are just as nice. black leather a +!

yea, that walk was brutal, but I did it lol didnt have any other choice!

yea the only rival the cobalt SS/SC has is the SRT-4 which starts off at 230hp stock w/ that turbo, If I were to get the cobalt my goal would be at least 300+hp and I'd be set.

Im sure by then Id be doing major engine mods, cams and such, P&P

IMO the Cobalt is a little better then the SRT-4. i've seen too many people have to get engines replaces at 20-30K do to spinning bearings. Also every SRT-4 I ever come across always sounds like it's backfiring... Can anyone explain that to me???

Every car does that to some extent... What i'm talkin about is the srt-4's i see when they are slowing down or downshifting.. whatever. It sounds like... Cough, cough, cough, sputter, sputter, sputter, cough, sputter, cough, cough. I'm sure that's a real help... I need to find some sound footage.
