I own two troopers. 1988 TrooperII with 215,000 miles. Runs perfectly and 4wd works great! A little (ok, a lot) rusty above the rear doors but is a great beach vehicle. Outer Banks N.C. Second is a 2000 trooper limited. 105,000 Miles and suddenly transmission problems! Looks like Ole' Red is coming to work with me tomorrow.

i have 215k on 95 3.1 diesel bought it with 40k on clock 2 years ago.
no problems. previously had 93 3.1 diesel with 160k and traded for 3.0 d, big mistake. ended up having to trade in 3 of the 3.0 in 24mths eventually got rid of it. |

2000 Trooper, head cracked @ 37K mi, AC comp about 40K, now has about 55K.
New pads/rotors/shoes around 35-40K mi, but I do use it to flat tow my Toyota rockcrawler sometimes.
