Haha. I feel somewhat the same way. I thought I was going to leave this forum but Its great talking to you guys. This is my daily rutine for forums....green hulk, then automotive forums, then PWCToday. PWCToday is overated.....Green hulk is the best for PWC's and Automotive is the best for cars and everything else.

Yes , AF is a Nice place to be.

I goto other forums but they are pretty cheesy, just to blow off steam. This one I goto is pretty much anything goes!
You can post links to anything anywhere, you just cant post pron pictures
Mostly they are fans of the Butthole Surfers, and some of the ex-band members(if you guys even know who they are ).

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

quickie problem, friend's ford taurus not blowing out any hot air, coolant level is fine, has trouble keeping pressure though, its leaking near the cap but not to terrible, because its more upper, only when theres pressure and/or fluid swishing around when driving is it able to escape out of the top... Hoses are old, and probly breaking down from the inside.

I think it could be the heater core, before it worked somewhat ok, never toasty though... it went to straight cold air, then sorta worked one night... but since then it hasnt been working...

My guess is the heater core, and/or maybe a clog (no idea when it was last flushed)

I told her to just watch the engine temp, making sure it doesnt get to high...

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

Sounds like the core is pluged or has an air pocket trapped in the HC.
post something in the Taurus forum

Dont think I have traveled through the Taurus forums for a long time. They are cheap little cars that either work good or are crap. Oh ya, thats like the GA's

^X2! I would have to agree especially on the performance end of it or lack of it! As sick as this may sound, I kind of liked the taurus SHO's that they made. They stopped making them though.... On my street though it's Ford Taurus Heaven! 3 people have them on my half of the stree alone! The other half has the Taurus sister car the Sable with another 3 of them. I guess Ford did something right?

Re: Grand Am Off Topic Thread

SHO's werent to bad.

On a side note here, I meant to bring it up earlier but forgot.
One of my sons got a Hot Wheels Radar gun for xmas

It reads MPH and Hot wheel scale speeds.
Only reads up to 100mph though

Seems pretty accurate though.
Damn kids get all the good stuff these days
