OK....I'll bite. I saw a few aviation guys on here, so I thought I'd post a pic or two (yeah...the cockpit is a bit messy!).

I'm a 33 year old captain on the Airbus A-300 Cargo-conversion twin engine jet for Express Net Airlines. We haul heavy lift freight world-wide. We fly all night long, and spend alot of time away from home, but it is still a great job and quite a rush (especially during typhoon season in Asia..lol). I also spend alot of time teaching in the simulator.

Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?

Man, already 80 posts and counting....that's amazing... I learned a lot about a lot of you guys, and I hope you did the same..... But I must ask you guys one more questions, to keep this post going and to make this forum more exciting (though, like it already isn't).....but what do you guys keep mostly in your trucks? I am talking like socket sets, or a certain types of tools or first aid kit or ?

Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?

I guess I will be the first one.....I have a full socket set which I keep under the back seats on the left side.....just like the jack is on the right....I also keep a tool box under the back seat which is filled with all sorts of tools and nuts and bolts....I keep a maglite flashlight as well, above my head where the middle console is (2001 models, have a long middle console above your head where you can keep your garage opener, sunglasses, and papers) I got 2 of those mag lite hangers, and screwed it in...perfect spot.....

Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?

well, as fars as stuff i keep inside my truck.. i use to have a bunch of junk stored under my back seat, but now i store my speaker box under their. umm.. i have a flash lite in my glovebox. and maybe a screw driver in my center consoul, most of my tools are at home. Alot of times i have my bike locked up in the bed. I used a pad lock and a heavy duty cabel and the factory tiedowns and lock up my bike in their when im not riding.

o, i forgot to post last time that i do some residential electrical work on the weekends. I had 3 years of electrical in H.S. and thought thats what i was gonna do, but when you have to be either the son or close family member to get in the local around here (which im not) i somehow fell into the general constrction industry.

Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?

Since I've got a camper, I keep a Contico Tuffbin bungee'd up against the cab ($40 at Lowes or Home Depot). They're lockable and there's a way to mod 'em where you can chain 'em to the frame if you don't have a camper. Just takes a couple of U-bolts and a teflon-coated bike chain if anyone's interested. I used to keep it in the back of my Frontier before I bought the Silverado.

I keep the jack and tools in there since I've got an amp and a 12" sub under the seat (and having a car seat for my toddler kinda makes it hard to get under the seat anyway). Misc tools otherwise.

I'm 26 and I am a Builder in North Metro Atlanta GA.
I keep all kinds of carpentry tools and even an air compressor, nail guns, and impact wrenches. Socket sets, everything so I shouldn't be broken down for long should that happen.

Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?

Im 20 and I drive a cement mixer truck. Trying to save money so I can go to Wyotech in the winter. A buddy of mine went there and is doing very well so I tought I would give it a try.

I keep a tow rope, my truck is nicknamed the Towtruck. I have pulled so many people out of mud and snow. And a set of jumper cables.
