Well, here it is, the final update for the build of the 917 itself..
The only thing left to do was the tape around the front lights. Provided in the kit were one-piece decals, which doesn't represent the real thing of course. So I cut the decals in multiple pieces and added those around the headlight, giving the impression several pieces of tape were used. The result can be seen in the next picture:  The car is now finished.... but I'm not done yet. I'l be adding a couple of accessories and I'm still thinking about the presentation/base. So I'm afraid there aren't any "finished" pictures yet. But.... I did make one teaser picture  |
