Re: Racing with honor in a dishonorable world.

I don't really rev at lights to get people to race. I had a guy in an IS300 with huge exhaust trying to get me to race him on I-10 east of Tallahassee on thursday. He kept passing me and slowing down so I would get in the passing lane and then gunning it when I got alongside him. Keep in mind I was already doing 79mph as it was. You have to be nuts to drive over 100 on I-10. There are FHP everywhere. I kept looking over at him and shaking my head no and he kept cutting in front of me and hitting it when I got beside him. I felt like a rape victim. Besides, why would anyone in there right mind engage in a high speed highway run in a stock WRX? That would just make me look silly.

Mine has more legs than that. I runs like a mother to 30mph.

sweet man. Your right near me! I know exactly which mustang your talking about. Its an ugly orange one with loud ass exhaust and the black racing stripes. GForce...we saw it going to Carolina Ale House the other day. It's been on capital a few times. I even got a chance to run him: That was fun

Re: Racing with honor in a dishonorable world.

We have a stupid fast scooby up here that doesnt want to race from a dig for some stupid reason. Who knows why? kicked the crap out of a GTO from a roll if thats any indicator of this thing's manhood.

Sometimes those mustang guys are the ones you DONT want to line up with you, for fear of a RWD launch gone wrong and you get his ass end swinging into your door.

I kicked the poo out of a GTO from a roll GForce was driving my car while it happened. Asshole took my first race after I bumped up the boost to 9psi

you have to put one in the chamber, you don't have to pull the slide back?? anyway you look at it, pulling a slide back would be a click click, then boom,... followed by 15-16 more booms, then "oh sh!t he's still breathing, he's got a gun" a clank, click, and another set of booms....

Yeah, if you rack the slide it will click. But who carries without one in a chamber, especially when the whole point of the Glock is that it is a "safe action" pistol that will allow you to carry it cocked and locked with out worrying about an accidental discharge or fumbling with an external safty?

I'm looking at jumping back to Glocks for my CCW. I really like the 23 and that .40 S&W is a hell of a round. And during the summer months when its nine zillion degrees, its a good bit easier than my 1911.

Mushi, good kills bro. Always like your stories. At least someone around here is getting races. I can't even get the fart canned Hondas to run me anymore.

"But gas is to expensiiiiiiiiive."

Then stop being a bitch and get a Pious you whore. More sweet nectar 93oct for me.

I think GForce already posted about the race. It was a 5.7GTO and I think we started around 50mph. From 50-around 90 we put (not exaggerating here) 4 cars on the guy at LEAST. It was fun

Re: Racing with honor in a dishonorable world.

From my experience the 6.1 GTO is MUCH stronger than the 5.7.

Maybe the real fast scooby driver is afraid to break his tranny on a clutch dump. Even dumping the clutch in the stock car puts alot of strain on it. Although, a car with considerably more power might be able to get enough wheelspin to reduce the strain.

6.0 GTO

Yeah the 5.7 didn't seem to special at all, I really think I would have beat it in the bullitt, very least it would be neck and neck.

Re: Racing with honor in a dishonorable world.

As fast as it is it should be a 6.1.

Why did I think it was a 6.1?

It WILL beat a Sebring though. No matter how poorly driven

EDIT- I just realized I got confused the motor with the 5.7 and 6.1 POS hemi
