Well...the GLI was plan A (well....I'm actually on...like...plan H now...but yea...) but they won't finance me. I find it very amusing how the Scion guys said no, the Honda guys said yea then the VW guys said no. It's like they don't want to sell the car! I/they know damn well I can pay for it...I don't have BAD credit...just not ENOUGH...well...so they say, anyway. That would be like me telling certain customers that walk into my restaurant to go away...it's just fucking retarded.

So...plan "B" is the Neon. Some family friends of ours own a Dodge dealer nearby so me and my dad are gunna go see what they say tomorrow (monday).

I like the car....

Sure...it has it's drawbacks:

it's a neon...
it's a dodge...
it's 4 door...

...but it has a good number of good points, too:

it's brand new (I called the dealer and asked if they had any left...they have one left and it's even black...the color I wanted and it has...like...8 miles on it...)...
they don't look bad...
they're REALLY fun to drive...
and NO ONE can argue the fact that they're nearly UNBEATABLE in the "bang for the buck" area...this one is one of the last ones they have before they start getting in next year's model or something so I can probably pick it up, brand new, for under 20K...that's a TON of car for the buck.

If this doesn't work, I'll go somewhere else...I don't really care anymore. The Prelude was perfect for me...nothing could replace that car...it fit who I am almost as well as the Z31 does and I financed it all on my own. I don't think I could get another one of them...not now at least...it would be too weird.
