Re: Yamaha YZF-R1
Thank you guys!
Here is the airbox almost finished. I just still need to add some putty here and there to cover some small holes and will be done. Next to do will be to prepare and detail the interior of the fuel tank. Not sure if will be worth to sell a kit with this airbox and the detailed tank but of course I will do a copy for maybe future projects. Hope you like it! Roca. PS: I may upload pictures of the real airbox soon. |

Re: Yamaha YZF-R1
Thank you mates!!
This is a little bit out off topic but it seems that I finally found which will be my next project. I said it too many times, too many works started and not finished, but everytime I work with the putty, the foam, the resin and even drawing programs I got more new techniques, so I would say that now I'm readyer than before, so once I finish this you will know which will be the next. Cheers! Roca. |

Re: Yamaha YZF-R1
Photoetched screws. Still I have to add more detail on that electric installation. Forgot to mention that I also have to add decals over the battery and the ignition unit. Roca. |

Re: Yamaha YZF-R1
Really nice Roca. With the battery decals the undertray will look super. Interesting to follow you getting all those hoses connected!

Re: Yamaha YZF-R1
Thank's all for the comments!
I still don't know which livery or which scheme I'm going to make, but I don't think on adding sponsors (this isn't a racing bike is a street bike, but at least yamaha logos and letters of course) I'm thinking of blue colour... maybe it has been seen too many times but.. is beautiful. Anyway if anyone has an scheme and want to show it to give me ideas feel free to post. Hope to show to you more on this weekend. Roca. |
