more random stuff:
new steeringwheel for it sideshot of the car the engine (minus mounting bracket for the afm, i want to solid mount an airbox) and the key (getting a nicer one made... some time)

well drove it around the yard! and... just finished the air filter/afm mounting bracket and put that in, licensing and registration is done... now it just needs cosmetic work. but that can wait, for now i'll settle for washing her!

update: i know it's been a while...
the car runs amazingly, and today's improvements were... antiroll/seatbelt bar (that we made) and PUSH BUTTON STARTING!!!!! pics to come tomorrow.

how much did you spend on the japan jdm engine ? and why not use the 1998 beam engine 3rd gen. instead of 2nd gen. 3sgte?

i spent around 2k shipped on the engine, and chose second gen because i plan to modify it. it will be less expensive in the long run this way.

Mk1.5s are GODS among any car on the road.
One of these days I will have one. As soon as I perfect the method for growing a money tree. Anywho... how much did you spend in total building yours? And how many hours (approximately) did you spend on the build? |
