Re: Monaco Gp is schumacher gonna win?

Jarno Trull wins the 2004 Monaco GP, his hirst GP win ever in 117 startswith Jenson Button coming in second, Rubens in third, JPM in third, Massa in a brilliant fifth, then Damatta (the first of two toyotas in the points), then Nick bringing the first points to the Jordan team and Panis rounding off the top 8. Baumgartner is in ninth and is the last car to see the chequered flag.

Re: Monaco Gp is schumacher gonna win?

Trulli didn't put a wheel wrong all weekend ( to Phil!) - not when he qualified, not when he was in front by some distance, not when he was under immense pressure from Button. Stunning drive.

Do you guys have TVs?
Nice to see Trulli take his first win, is it a statistic anomaly or a sign of things to come? I suspect the former, Schumacher really should have won that.

What about Schumacher post crump? Don't see you complaining about him spreading debris and fluid around for half a lap...

Hard to believe I once had respect for Martin Brundle. During the race, just after Schumacher set his fourth or fifth consecutive fastest lap Martin said something like "Schumi doesn't have the car to win the race but he is driving some stunning laps" Huh? Next he credited Nigel Mansell with 5 Monaco wins He completely missed Webber slow before saying how well he was going - huh? He is an ex-Monaco 2004 racer Martin

Does anybody pay any attention anymore? I could do a better job, except I'd upset the blind worshipers of the Chin.

Re: Monaco Gp is schumacher gonna win?

Didnt' see any fluids, and if he had stopped on track he would have prolonged the safety car period, hope you can see the difference. And if you feel that driving around the track with the engine that everybody knows will blow up and probebly big time, and when it did it cause the accident that could easily have been much worse for Fisico then whatever, it just shows that you'd rather find a case to argue than look at the reasonable side. Don't suppose that Sato-caused crash and safety car played largely into the hands of Schumacher while taking out one of the cars from your team out matters ...

And yes, I have a TV, and I (not sure you noticed even though you quoted it) said that I will reserve the judgement until I know all the facts, but it's just common sense that a lapped driver should not be following the leader who is behind the safety car too close not to be able to avoid an accident. I suppose you also blame Montoya for his crash with Verstappen in Brazin 2001? Whatever. BTW, if you feel you need to defend the Moantoya because he'll be driving for Ron next year, it's been rumoured that he's looking to get out of the contract, so don't try too hard just yet.

Sounds like a Murray Walker imitation!

I hear that DC put the blame entirely on Maontoya.

Re: Monaco Gp is schumacher gonna win?

Also JPM is said to have apologised to Ferrari and is expected to make an appearance before the stewards. But of course what's that in the eyes of the people who, rather than celebrate the success of their team, or, for the lack of such, some other driver/team who did an outstanding job, are rather simply happy because of Ferrari/Schumacher not doing well.
