Don't follow me. I'm a perfectionist. You can buy this kit and assemble it in usual way (for resin, of course) with little corrections. There is no alternative for this beautiful Aston in 1/24. This would be a very nice model anyway.

There was no headlamp washers on the prototype. But Hobby Design has made the production car - it has bigger rear view mirrors than the prototype. I have been compelled to add washers.






Then I decided to glue the rear view mirrors before painting because the basis and the door are made as a whole and it looks fantastic.


But in a resin it's very fragile. Thus I took a 0,5mm drill and steel pin.














At last I made the windshield flanges from 1mm polystyrene.








Eventually the body was coated with primer.

hi. just joined af and i saw this thread. really nice clean work! something to aspire to!
if i may ask you a few questions, how did you scribe the headlight washer? what tool did you use? did you use the masking tape as the template? how do you keep the lines straight?

Beautiful! Even with just a coat of primer. It must be nerve-wracking to paint and polish with the side mirrors fixed.

I'm using the model knife which you can see on the eighth photo from below. Finally, a grid paper P400 has used to smooth lightly the edges. The masking tape was used to draw lines and then to start cut the lines by knife. Then the light scratches were deepened and widened slowly without any additional devices.
