I say you stick with the blue and tie the car with more black.... the black would keep you from such the extreme showcar look. Wouldn't take such a radical change in what you have also

I'm thinking of killing off all the white and covering it with black, and maybe use a darker shade of blue insteal of ALL black. My engine is taking its time on shipping so I haven't had the chance to do much yet...

i think the blue looks great....i have seen cars that have all blue on the plastic and then two tone white and blue seats. it looks pretty good. as for the seats Autoleather.com has kits that you can get for about $1,000 bucks and you can get two tone leather that will cover the front and rear seats, center console (if you want it), and the door pannals. you may want to check with them. ...oh....and thanks for telling us the steps you took when you painted the interior ...i like when people do that....i never really knew how to get that flat look without the grain of the plastic....

You mean the red carpet and stock interior? Red carpet sells for a pretty penny, and I've never really even liked the color. I like blue and wish my car was the same, but black comes next and since that's all they had for the USDM hatch I'll go with that. A totally black interior sounds pretty wicked to me.

On that idea... you could start doing an entirely black interior with blue stitching... kinda a nock-off type r idea ya know? I think that would be badass

Which gauges, the main cluster or the tach and air/fuel? You can hook up an a/f gauge and tach to any car, it's easy. The gauge cluster is from a 00 Civic Type R to match the B16B engine I just put in.

I'll just memorize 25, 35, 45, and 65 where they line up with mph on my old cluster.
