Here is an interesting but probably pointless (and no doubt wildy inconclusive) piece of number crunching. This year the fastest Ferrari is 2.43 seconds quicker that the fastest Minardi. Last year the difference was 5.55 seconds. Either Minardi have made startling progress in the last 12 months or Ferrari have issues with more than just tyres...

Must be getting close to a start now. McLarens will be first and last on the grid. Kimi only just holding Alonso out for pole and Montoya relegated to the back after being panalised by the stewards for causing an avoidable accident during practice...

imagine a someone modifies his civic to 3000hp and spoilers everywhere tottally aero dynamic and no lines in the tyres with no restriction n just intrudes in the track and overtakes everyone before somone could stop him that be fun........just a thought dont flame
