Not according to the photo you posted. Did you drain coolant out of the radiator before taking the photo?

Coolant looks green. Not Dexcool.

When was the last time the cooling system was flushed and the coolant replaced with fresh stuff?

First Guess: Plain ol' ordinary neglect. Use infra-red temperature "gun" to verify no cold spots on radiator when engine is running, fully warmed up, and the fans are NOT running. Flush coolant THOROUGHLY, open radiator and block drains to remove flush water. Inspect radiator for clogging/corrosion. Inspect hoses for deterioration. Clean crap out of overflow bottle. Install the coolant brand/type of your choice, in aproximately 50/50 mix with water. Replace rad cap--I like the lever-lock style for safety. See if the ugly stuff in the radiator comes back.

It is not dexcool, but on lable says it will work for any color coolant universal. I was using it to top it off. I have had the car a little over a year and have not given it a flush.

I will flush it out tomorrow and see what happens

Re: Overheat

I'm flushing my system, after 5 min looks like it's gonna overheat then fans kick in and needle starts going down. I look u8nder the hood and notice no water is going into my top hose. Hose looks like air being squeezed out... I turn off the car and hose goes back to normal.

I'm assuming my thermostat isn't opening up?

if you were adding/mixing regular antifreeze to a factory dexcool system it will sludge up the entire cooling system!!!
the entire system including overflow must be drained & flushed good, probably a few times
until everything is cleaned.best to remove the thermostat while flushing
replace all hoses if possible along with cap & thermostat

Good luck mike

I'm on my fourth flush and found another bottle of Super Flush and fixin to pour it in. I don't have any transportation to the parts store so I can't get the cap and thermostat...

Schurkey is correct in that I am able to use the VIN to run a check for recalls and bulletins that may apply to your sitaution. It allows me to specifically look at those that would apply to your vehicle.
