The government cannot possibly make everyone happy, for instance this. They come out and say maximum of $600 per individual and sure as shit some people are going to automatically assume that they will get the maximum or some how confuse "maximum" with "minimum" and now those people are going to be the ones bitching when they get, say, $350 or whatever. This is the thing that drives me NUTS about politics and governmental shit... I seriously doubt that most people have any fuckin clue what they are yammering about and I dont think that normal civilians are the only ones.

A lot of people I know that have read that article think they will get 1200 just because they are married but I highly doubt even 50% of couples will get the capped amount or 75% of single individuals will get the capped amount either..Only thing you can do at this point is hope for the most possible but then again if you think about the last time this happened - what followed ? Bloated ass taxes...It's more of a set up than a relief in my eyes.

This is way too much to read. Basically we had no mre deficit till that dickhead Bush went on to become a war mongral. In my opinion whoever becomes president next, will not be as bad as Bush was. Hope in February things will change for the better. For now, the rebate will go to my rims fund
