1996
3.2L V6 4x4 142,000 miles Absolutlely no major problems. My Rodeo has been reliable, dependable, and tough as nails! I love this truck!!! Oh yeah, I'm a fanatic about the oil changes, replacing it at 3k or a little sooner! Plus I've stayed on top of all the tune ups and services. This has included over the life of the truck: replacing all the fluids, filters, spark plugs, PCV valve, timing and accessory belts (tensioner as well), thermostat, shocks, all 4 CV Boots, cleaning and repacking both CV axles, brake pads and rotors, switching to Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos, and other things that I can't remember. My Rodeo runs great, looks great, and isn't slowing down a bit!!! -Nick

Year: 1993
Engine: 3.2 V6 Mileage: 160,000 Any major problems: Replaced Timing Belt, Idler, Tensioner, Adjuster, Water Pump, Accessory Belts. Got it from my brother which his daughter drove (not much maintenance) Still running strong though. Got it on a diet of Mobil 1 so that should stop the wear. Been leaking Anti-Freeze from behind the engine (cross over line?) since the 1st owner had it but appears to be getting worse now. What's it cost to fix? |
