When I bought the car it was totally stock (as delivered by Saleen). I changed the shifter out last weekend, otherwise it's still stock. I have ordered an off road h-pipe that should be in late this week. Suspension is the Saleen racecraft stuff, I don't believe they do any engine mods, just the borla exhaust so it was factory rated at 305hp. I did get my window sticker yesterday, other than the normal Saleen stuff it had extras of the roll bar, 3.55:1 rear gears, and the twin gauge pod. And sorry about the dial up thing, I liked the pics from another site and didn't realize they would be so resource intensive.

Re: Cobra Saleen
First off I am not a big Mustang fan... Actually I don't even like Mustangs... But I wont pass up a good deal, I bought two Mustangs at the IRS Auctions in San Diego about 2 1/2 years ago,
The first was a pretty clean 1999 Mustang Cobra SVT ($5,500) and the second one was a bullet ridden 2003 Mustang Mach 1 ($600). I had the cars shipped back to Texas and to Garland Ford. It turns out both the cars had been custom jobs. The SVT was a Saleen job and the Mach1 was a Saleen and XMP(I think) job. The Cobra SVT is using in limited racing events and the Mach1 is currently being rented out to a local Ford showroom. |

As for the $5500? Not really lucky once you consider the fact that at the last auction they sold an Enzo Ferrarri for about $30,000usd. |
