Not sure how old this thread is but I just saw it, not sure if anyone knows about this. But here you go.

man why cant you people just stick to normal cars....? lol jk ive always wanted to put u fuckin sick evo/eclipse motor into a camaro or mustang like tokyo drift style lol just to piss some muscle head off. But anyway i think if you welded the cage to the shell and not one of those bolted jobs then you should be able to handle the torque right...

Well it's not a practicle thing for me right now since all my work space is full of cars and my warehouse is full of drums of acid lol..Anywho , I sold the motor today and trans so :/ I am picking up a S/C 400 sbc though shortly so I think I may do something a little 'funner' with that and an eclipse shell when I get the openings for it.
