The engine and chassis are straight out of the kit; very simplistic, not too detailed. Since this one is more about the exterior I left it all as is and added the underhood decals from the '78 sheet.

No, the Miami Vice Daytona has a C3 Corvette chassis. Yet they put a Daytona windshield on it instead of the Corvette one... Go figure.

I drew up and printed the Pininfarina scripts and crests. I also made door handles and locks at the same time.
BMF for the chrome and the glass has been installed. I tried the Hasegawa Flat Black Finish material for the B Pillars and it works well. Thanks Mark Taylor! |
