Re: Sepculating on whether Fujimi or Revell AG will do this...

I really hope somebody makes a decent kit of an FF first.
F12 Berlinetta is a good looking car, but FF is just pure sculpture!

Yep, looks a bit Pokemon-ish to me too.

Well, there is certainly some design elements of 599 in there, especially around rear wheel arches. It does look more like 550 Maranello from the side though.

Re: Sepculating on whether Fujimi or Revell AG will do this...

You would think the economics of producing kits would be such that they would choose subjects of broad and timeless appeal???
I always thought that is why aircraft and military modeling guys had so much content compared to us. . . .

Why they insist on casting the seat bottoms to the interior tub I'll never know.

To be honest, I wish Fujimi would do something OTHER than a Ferrari or Porsche.
Do these companies (Ferrari in particular) have shares in Fujimi?????
There are DOZENS of other amazing cars out there - C'mon Fujimi...... NOT another flippin' BORING Ferrari!!!!!!!
Roy.

Actually, yes, they have been doing and are planning to do other manufacturers besides Ferrari and Porsche. I give Fujimi credit pumping out actual NEW stuff lately. Take for example the BMW Z4 and Mclaren MP4-12C GT cars, Lamborghini Aventador, Sauber C30, and the Mclaren MP4-27 coming soon. They even came out with a scale version of Ayrton Senna's Kart from the 80's and 90's.

Not a bad kit, however the engine bay looks a bit strange and the almost complete lack of suspension detail is a worse thing than the molded in seats.

Exactly. Stop complaining and open up your eyes, and mind a little. If making Ferrari kits (that actually sell VERY well), allows Fujimi and others to earn enough to release kits that won't be profitable, but desirable by enthusiasts, I'm fine with them making as many Ferrari or Porsche kits as they want.
