I opened the bleeder valve today, got a steady flow until the reservoir drained after about 5 minutes. I was working alone. I suppose I need someone to help me bleed now. Do I need to pump the clutch and hold down, or pump only once and hold?
Thanks for all your help.

Pump the clutch and hold down. You will notice air coming out in spurts. Stop when you get a good stream. At this point fill up the system and check for a full pedal.
