Re: How many miles do you have your Isuzu?

168k purchased new
1994 LS 4wd V6
Still haven't done a brake job on it yet, about 3mm worth of pad on the front with no grooving and it looks like all 4 of the rotors are not worn very much at all.
The "tick" but diesel oil sure helps alot. I've tried seafoam, different treatments all which didn't work. Only fully synthetic oil or diesel oil kept it quiet.
timing belt, 2 window regulators, starter and now the alternator have been worked on.
A 50' pine tree did fall on it and cause 7k in damage.

Re: How many miles do you have your Isuzu?

Hi All: i'm kevin & i'm an ex-dodge fan.
1994
3.2/auto (my first in a truck)
209716 as of right now.

only lately has it developed some lifter chatter (some help here please?--don't know much about these engines.)
& one of the trans. cooler lines started to leak.
i'm the 2'nd owner--bought it about 6 months ago. why?
well--because i've wanted one since the rodeo first hit the market
here in sunny arizona. (& the dogs love it )

interesting forum here.

Re: How many miles do you have your Isuzu?

Rodeo's have a normal tick. Get some synthetic 10w30 this will quite things down. You can also use some Lucas oil treatment. If you are really outside the box get some quantum blue oil from BND Automotives.

Oil pump went out and caused rod bearings to go out. Looking for a cheap engine to swap out.

Smile Re: How many miles do you have your Isuzu?

Year: 1998
Engine: V6
Mileage: 180,000
problems: After market- 3 inch lift made my brake lines blow two times, new exhaust, needs new o2 sensor and gas cap cause its making my check engine light appear, other than that its running like a champ considering i dont drive it all that much any more bc i have a G35 so the rodeo is really just a winter car.

Re: How many miles do you have your Isuzu?

99 Rodeo, 3.2 V6 94K miles
Major problem: Troubling shooting and enventually replacing the engine crank shaft position sensor.
Usual Rodeo problem: fuel gas sending unit-replaced
No major engine problems-valve cover gasket leaks a bit and now the AC evaporator fins are plugged but no biggie there.

Re: How many miles do you have your Isuzu?

Thought it time to update my mileage

Miles:121k

The truck has been running like a champ with just two minor problems, one of which I caused.

Power steering pump gave out at 120k and I had to replace the drivers side mirror after clipping a pole

knock on wood it will keep going till well past 200k
