Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?

Hi everyone, first post here, long time GM driver first Silverado. I had a 2002 s-10 in great shape I bought new that met an unfortunate end in a fire. I just replaced it with a 2004 ext cab 2wd 4.8 silv. I almost bought a Colorado, but I'm glad I got this truck, I love it. I too am a union electrician out of local 176. I have about 2 weeks left in my apprenticeship so I'm excited about that . Work around here is probably the best it's been in 3 or 4 years. Good to see so many union trades represented here.

I have the record at 57 and I have 89 silverado. I am retired but I build high end custom desktop computers for complete geeks. Fist truck with TBI, don't know if I like it yet as I lost my 1985 sierrs show truck in a home fire. It had 600 hp on pump gas and I havent totally researched how to get those ponies without spending a fortune on this TBI.

Re: What age are you guys mostly, and what kind of work do you do?

Hello All

Have a 94 3/4 truck, 6.5 turbo diesel. And have bought several older ones thru the years. Have done many upgrades and all in all, my 6.5 rocks, 23mpg and alot of ft lbs torque.

I started out, and still a machinist, mostly oil an gas, but we do NASA an Bell helicopter parts also, love to work with my hands and when you are done
with your project, you can really see an accomplishment. I can say " I love my job"

Thanks to all for the quick and good advice on ya'lls responce's. Alot of
people, such as myself, read alot of nice and honest information.

Thanks again
Rob
