Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
WOW! those are amazing.. you have WAAYY too much time on your hand; to put that much into a car you cannot drive! really like the Lancia, and the 956.. that is just impressive work..

Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
So, after a long time, a sign of life from my Zakspeed Capri.
I've been struggling with the wheels/tires I installed for some time now. Both were made using resin casting a long time ago. But I didn't like the whole thing at all anymore. The actually polished rims were just sprayed silver and I had simply glued and painted the gold inlet. You could see that too. So I redid everything using 3D printing. Now I could paint the rim star without masking it off and I used the airbrush to paint it. Much, much better now. Unfortunately, the weak light here means you can't see how shiny the whole thing is. It looks better in the pictures with Capri. At the same time I also replaced the front grill. You can guess which is the new one and which is the old one. Here's another look under the hood. Now we'll continue with the cockpit. The goal is to have the Capri ready by Christmas. Greetings, Christian |
