Re: 3d print: Ford Escort MK1 in 1/12 scale
Fantastic stuff Christian. Rally car version will be brilliant but one minor point, the rally version didn't run with a bib spoiler at the front.

Re: 3d print: Ford Escort MK1 in 1/12 scale
Thanks for your reply.
Yes the rallye version was running without a spoiler. My plans did not include an rallye escort until a guy ask about it.He wanted that minilite style rims and i included some street tires for him.Next step was the higher suspension and than some front and rear bumpers too. Thats all.Did not want to make a second body shell for it.I think every modeller who is willing to build a resin printed model has the skills to use a sanding stick and some putty to sand the spoiler in the right shape. It was only a customer question about rims. Now i made a new suspension. regards Christian |

Re: 3d print: Ford Escort MK1 in 1/12 scale
Hello,
a long time has passed but I finally finished the two prototypes. Racing version of the Escort MK1 and the Rally version of the Escort all parts are 3d printed and of course vac-formed windows are included. Everything can also be ordered on my website if you want. Thanks very much! |

Brilliant build. When you've nailed the details in 1/12 I'll be in touch for half that scale parts
Maybe an Atlas axle rather than engine axle might be more accurate for a touring car/rally car. |
