Cluster power loss
I have a 2004 f150 with the 5.4. Having gauge cluster issues that come and go. While driving my gauges all zero out and my radio and dash lights will go off randomly then go back to normal. Sometimes it will happen only once, other times it will do it constantly. Also when i park and remove my keys from the ignition, my speedo flutters with all power off. Anyone have any recommendations.

Re: Cluster power loss
Not sure in your exact case but I had a bad ground wire connection that caused the same issues for me once. Try and find your ground wire to frame and see if it is corroded/rusted or just plain off.

Re: Cluster power loss
also common is a leak behind the fusebox lower passenger side kick panel that will cause corrosion behind it.

Re: Cluster power loss
Add to those above, I had similar issues on an older Ford. Weirdly enough there was corrosion on the positive battery cable, under the insulation, all the way to about 7" from the battery. Once replaced - all was normal.
Edit: also check plugs/connections behind the instruments.
