98 express van with 4l60e no 2nd gear

i have a 98 express 5.7l with 4l60e it has no 2nd shift it starts in 1st shows on snap on scanner it made shift but at 25 mph it shifts to 3rd then to 4th , 4th gear is very strong pulled pan inspected band still looks good (from what i can see from pan) replaced valve body , 1-2 solenoid 3-4 solenoid , 2nd and 4th gear servo, checked power and ground to 1-2 solenoid . pcm grounds solenoid in 1st then turns ground off in 2nd im stumped what could cause only 2nd problems im now lost, it was setting p0751 but has not set it again yet

If the scanner is engine/transmission capable
Check for codes and shift time and slippage data.
Post back what you find.

there are no active codes the stored code was p0751. the 1-2 shift time .063 sec. i believe but pan is off and van is in the air but it was not abnormal the slippage was not abnormal either it does not even try the shift thanks for your reply i dont mind replacing the tranny but dont want it to be electrical

Watch for any extra slippage in any gears.

When you get pan on clear codes and data and drive and see what comes back.

Go threw the repair flow chart for code 751.

If 1-2 solenoid has a problem it can store history code of 751.

I have a 2004 express van rebuilt 4l60e no 2nd gear 1st to 3rd and 4th. So i change out solenoids still no 2nd it has a corvette servo still no 2nd gear. Change wiring harness still no 2nd. pulled trans back out change input drum and case still no 2nd, drop pan swap VB still no 2nd gear. I am at a loss. it has to be electrical or PCM.I also replace the PMS as well check TPS its in specs. And i have no codes
