1971 Datsun 240Z - Purchasing Advice
Hello everyone,
I have been looking for a 240z that's kinda broke down and neglected as a project car because I love the '71/72 model body look. I found one recently that I've attached pictures of. Here is the description of the for sale post as well that the owner has put up: "I’m selling my 1971 Datsun 240z. It’s been parked for a while during my restoration process for the car but I’m unfortunately unable to continue the project because I need money for school. She ran before she sat and I’m not sure the mileage of the engine however it’s healthy. It does have minor rust spots but I do have the pieces needed to repair them and those pieces are included with the car. This car was originally a Nevadan car. She even has an ac unit. Interior is mint with just the lower part of the seats needing repairs. I got all sorts of parts too that I was planing on putting in the car such as a r200 diff rear suspension kit with coil overs and upgraded lower control arms which I’ll include with the car if the price is right. Send me offers" I want to know how much something like this would be worth. Again I am looking to really change up the car completely, even potentially engine swap and everything like that too, but you know start small first. Anyways, I would really appreciate some advice on what to expect, how much this would be worth, and just anything else that would be good to know for me since this is the first time I want to take something on like this. Thanks! |
