2012 Ram 5.7 coolant system problem
I have a 2012 RAM 1500 5.7 Hemi. I don't get a coolant temp reading on the DIC nor the temp gage. I do get a good temp reading on my analyser. A solution to my problem would really be appreciated. Wiring diagrams would be OK. Thanks in advanced.

On many vehicles there are two different sensors. One for the ECU and one for the gauge.

Re: 2012 Ram 5.7 coolant system problem
Follow up. Coolant temp reading on analyzer was correct. Drove the truck till analyzer read near 135 degrees and gauge started registering same temp as what I was seeing on the analyzer. DIC display reads outside temp. It stayed around zero because that's what the temp is outside. The DIC provides Trip 1, trip 2 and Temp. No mention of this DIC in the owners manual. How long does it take to switch my brain from Silverado to RAM?
