Heated seat issue connected to Blower Control Module

I have a 2004 Yukon XL Denali. A few days ago the fuse for the heated and power seats popped. Tried replacing it and got an immediate pop. Had to go out of town so drove it like that. When I returned the blower motor would not shut off when the key was off. I replaced the Blower Motor module and that resolved the blower issue. Put another fuse in the heated seat location to do some trouble shooting. Heated and power seats now work flawlessly. Has anyone ever seen this happen from a bad blower module?
