Looking for first car: manual transmission, dependable, not too much tech, less than $16.5k..
Hey, I’m from Long Island soon to be 18 and looking for my first car. My parents and I have done the math and the most we can afford is $16,500. I want a manual transmission, a head unit/stereo that I can easily replace (that means that it can’t be one of those with a screen that controls all of the aspects of the car), comfortable and dependable, not too much tech and it’s inportant that parts not be really expensive. What I really want is a classic car and my parents said they’ll consider if we find one in good shape, but they would prefer something less than 25 years old for me. What do you recommend?
