my mitsubishi 2004 spider 2.4 wont start! HELP!
I recently bought a 2004 mitsubishi 2.4 spider convertable. Had brakes put on it and when we went to start it to bleed them the car wouldnt start! A mechanic said it was timing belt! Is that possible? Running one minute and not the next? Any ideas?

I guess it could be but kind of sounds strange. How many miles? How does it sound when cranking? (normal or faster than it used to)

Did you test drive the car well enough before purchasing it?
Timing belt doesn't go off all of a sudden. If you drove the car before changing the brakes, you would have observed sounds from the engine, and they would help diagnose if the mechanic is indeed true. As of now, how does the car sound when you turn the ignition on? Did you check the battery? |
