1995 Jimmy Oxygen sensors
How many oxygen sensors are on a 1995 Jimmy and where are they located? We know that they all need to be replaced but we are getting mixed answers about how many there are and no one is helping us locate them. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 1995 Jimmy Oxygen sensors
I'm pretty sure there is only one. Should be before the catalytic converter. They are pretty easy to spot in the exhaust system if you crawl under and take a peak.
A 96 would be OBDII and have one before and after the catalytic converter.

Re: 1995 Jimmy Oxygen sensors
I agree, 1995 has one sensor just in front of the converter. 1995 fuel injector is batch fired so there's no need for an oxygen sensor in each bank. The ECM can not monitor converter performance, so there is no sensor after the converter.
96 & 97 use 4 sensors, and 98 uses 3.

I have a 95 Jimmy Slt and mind does indeed have two, one on either side of the cat. The upstream one is mounted on top of the curved peace of pipe about 11 inches away from the cat itself
