broken belt tensioner bolt
So we just got back from a trip and we made a stop a couple blocks away before we got back and the bolt for the tensioner pulley broke off. Does anybody know the best way to get the broken piece out. I have a few ideas but I wanted some suggestions on the easiest way to do it.

Re: broken belt tensioner bolt
Looks like it's left handed drill bit and easy out time. You'll probably need a 90deg drill to fit in there to do the work.

Re: broken belt tensioner bolt
That happened to me on a Buick V-6. I had to replace the complete bracket - In the rain, in the dark, 110 miles from home at my daughter's school. Of course, the bracket is also the coolant bypass block and alternator support. Hopefully your chore is easier.

Re: broken belt tensioner bolt
Yeah either that or torch time since I'm pretty sure it is in aluminum if the drill can't fit in there
