02 ram 1500 emissions
I bought the truck used several months ago, had some computer issues and the catalytic converter clogged up. all that has been replaced, my question is I am getting a p0455 code with is emissions large leak. from the canisters under truck a hose comes out of the canisters to the leak detection pump the to small round filter looking things. then it connects to a plastic pipe heading toward the motor. but it is just an open pipe about 18" away. where does this connect so that I can clear the p0455 code?

The line you are talking about is likely supposed to be open. Your code could be caused by a faulty purge valve, or a series of other issues.

Its one of those things that need diagnosed. I usually find that Googling the DTC number finds several results that usually include ways to diagnose the issue.

Re: 02 ram 1500 emissions
From an '01 FSM,
P0455 Evap Leak Monitor Large Leak Detected. A large leak has been detected in the evaporative system. Could be a bad gas cap not holding vacuum to the fill lines to fuel vent lines not sealed....just have to start looking.
