1987 Dodge Ram Van B250 ticking sound

I have a 1987 Dodge Ram Van B250 with a 5.2L engine. I just got the computer replaced and has been running very well for its age. Recently though after driving for about 10 minutes I notice that when in 2nd and 3rd gear usually a steady ticking sound begins only when i hit the gas. It sounds like it is coming from the front of the car in the engine area but i cant pinpoint where. I have read about this possibly being a problem with oil but I just got an oil change and it is still doing the same thing. My oil pressure is very high but the garage told me I shouldnt worry too much about it. Other than that it is driving great. Can anyone make any recommendations as to what this might be?

Could be a leak at one of the exhaust ports, that will sound like a tick.
