yea, I'm sorry too Here's another question: before I sell it, I want to get as much of the gas out of it (it has almost a full tank) as I can. I thought about disconnecting the fuel line before the filter, and turn the key on,using the fuel pump to pump the gas out, can I do this?

Yes .
You need to hot wire fuel pump or jumper the fuel pump test wire.
And always do it outside in well ventlated area.
And store gas cans in well venelated area.

Ok hope this helps someone last week put a new flex plat in my 1988 camaro put it back together only had 1st and second gear ? and reverse went in gear reaLLY hard after a week of reading on on on u get the drift , i read one that i hadnt tried , i was raise both rear tires off the ground use jackstands of course about 4 inches was what i did started it put in d ran it up to 55 shifted really hard car didnt shift was good so i figured i would adjust the tv cable trial and error and 4th try in drive brought it up to 75 and let it run while in the car , gave her the goose a few times must have made the pumps work or got the tv cable right now smooth shifting started s down shifting correctly and never had od but now do , I sure hope this helps a few people , as i was frustrated like mad , i can relate guys . hope if u try this make sure ur tv cable moves free as well good luck'
