Remote Switch/Amplifier Help
Can someone please give instructions on installing remote toggle switch. I am using the stock radio so where do I get the power from and what wires do I use to connect to the switch. Also, when I turn car off my subwoofer lets out a loud blare that will not stop I have to pull the power supply to stop can someone please tell me why and how I can fix that as well thanks.

Re: Remote Switch/Amplifier Help
find a wire in the dash that has 12V only when the car is on. Run that into a switch and the other side of the switch run a wire from there to the amp terminal ore where it says Rem or Rem turn on or w/e. Turn the amp off BEFORE you turn the radio or car off, should prevent the blaring.

Re: Remote Switch/Amplifier Help
yes ...
It sounds like you have the remote terminal wired directly to the +12V terminal on the amp |

Re: Remote Switch/Amplifier Help
The remote wire is just going from the remote terminal run through the car by the fuse box where I was trying to use a fuse for the switch. The rem wire wasn't ran to the 12v of the amp. I don't know I can't figure out why it just blasts like that when the car is turned on I may just have to take it somewhere and pay someone I was trying to save the cash

Re: Remote Switch/Amplifier Help
I can't remember now I returned my amp. This is the speaker I had http://www.polkaudio.com/products/db1212 and the amp was Alpine MRV-M500.

Re: Remote Switch/Amplifier Help
always turn the gain all the way down (counter clockwise) before turning it on the first time.
